Female CRNAs

Hi ladies,

I am eventually considering becoming a CRNA. I am currently married with no kids but do intend to have them eventually. What are your thoughts on family life as a CRNA? Are you on call or no call? 8-5? Or random hours? I know school will be intense and I won't have time for my husband let alone kids but afterwards I hope to have if not a normal schedule, a regular one. Have any of you started a young family soon after school?

any answers would be greatly appreciated

The jobs are so diverse in the CRNA world that you can pretty much work as much or as little as you desire. Surgery centers are popping up all over the place and these places have no call, 6am-3pm hours Mon-Fri, b+b cases.
