I am staring a Nurse Anesthesia DNP program in the fall and I have a question. When I graduate will I be able to perscribe medications? I am attending school in IL but I may return to where I live now (NYC) to practice.

Regarding whether you can prescribe things after surgery is over, that depends on your state. I heard Washington gives CRNA's prescribing powers, but I'm not 100% sure.
