Current ICU experience?

by tnd511

I am planning on applying to CRNA school for fall 07. I worked in a CICU for 2 1/2 years, but have been away from the ICU for 4 years. My current work experience is out-pt PACU. I realize the importance of the ICU experience and I am in the process of looking for an ICU job and plan on starting one this fall. I am wondering if anyone else was accepted into a program w/o current ICU experience?

imo, study and take the ccrn exam. that combined with your overall experience should be enough.
