CRNA schools in California

From what I've researched, there are only three CRNA schools in California. Samuel Merritt, Kaisser Permanente and USC. Are there any more or are these it? Are there any schools that are near S. Cali but not necessarily in the state of California?

You are right. There are only three schools in California. Two in L.A. (Kaiser and USC) and one in San Francisco (Samuel Merrit College). For some reason, there are not as many choices in the West as they are in the East. I ended relocating to Baltimore, University of Maryland to attend nursing anesthesia. My house and my husband are still back in L.A., so we travel back and forth when time allows.

Your other choice would be Western university in Glendale, Arizona if I am not mistaken. A new program that just open last year, but from what I hear is a good program.

I hope this helps.

Also TCU and TWU of Texas have clinical affiliation with Arrowhead Regional Medical Center of San Bernardino county. You attend classes in Texas and return to California for clinical part of the education. Somebody might know details about these 2 programs.

It depends if it is a state school or private school. Private schools will not increase tuition, while state schools do.

I live in California now, and I'm not even considering the schools here due to the outrageous cost of living. Couple that with tuition and expenses(Sam Merritt is expensive.), and forgone income and the cost of education is a lot higher than what one might think.

total kaiser fees will end up being about 17000. that includes the 25-50 dollar fees here and there. cost of living is high. i am from louisiana but felt this was the best program for the money and time. 24 months long. lots of regional exp. lines, plenty of clinical sites etc.
