CRNA MS MSN or does it matter

by nilepoc

I guess my question is, does it matter if you get a master of science of nursing, or is a master of science better. Or ultimately is there a difference once practicing.

Anyway, I have heard some people say that a master of science is the best to have.

You can be an instructor with an MSN. Other than that, there is no difference with practice.

Hi,
I looked at both types of schools before applying. The MSN program have a generic core and anesthesia area of specialization. I applied to MS programs because it was a better fit. No nursing theory courses.

You can be an anesthesia instructor with either an MSN or MS degree in nurse anesthesia. I have both teaching in my program.
