CRNA Exam Review Course

I just registered for the Valley Review but I have been told there are other CRNA certification exam review courses available. I have not been able to find any other review courses in my internet search. Does anyone have any info about another CRNA review course besides Valley?

I am not familiar with any other review for CRNA boards besides the Valley review. I will be attending in October myself.

The annual meeting has a review course that spans a couple of days as well. FYI - we are also hearing that the format is changing due to the issues with testing last year. I wonder if anyone knows if that is rumor or truth?

I'm pretty sure the rumor is true. One of the new grads that I work with said she only had two questions that were from Valley Review last year. I think the review will be a good refresher.

Howard review.
Howard is/was a PD in one of the schools around the Pittsburgh area.
he offers a review course.
It is thought his review is not as popular or far reaching as Valley review.
If you meet proffessionals that graduated in the later 80's or 90's in the PA area the mostly took the Howard review.
I met a recent Drexel graduate this Summer, he spent his last dime on the howard and valley review. He took his board exam within a week of graduation. He told me, those reviews were invaluable to him, but refused to rank or rate them in terms of which was a better review.

After doing a quick online search, I was unable to find any information on the Howard Review. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

From peers, administrators, and current CRNAs, the consensus is that the Valley Review is the gold standard. Have not heard anything bad about the Valley review, some programs require students take the review course as part of the curriculum. Will keep an ear out for any others, but hey if its not broke don't fix it. Don't know anything about problems with the cert exam.

What were the problems/issues with the cert exam?
