Bread and Butter

I'm on my phone so I am not able to search for the answer to this very well. But can someone please tell me what are bread and butter cases and please give examples if needed.
Thanks in advance

Are you thinking like Tonsils and adenoid removal for an ear nose and throat doc?

as in easy surgery, lots of them aka his bread and butter?

Thats the only thing I can think of when you say "bread and butter" cases

From an anesthesia standpoint.. bread and butter cases are the simple cases done in small community and rural hospitals....

examples of what ARE; Hips, knees, scopes, lap cholys, thyroidectomies.etc etc.

what are NOT. crans. AA repairs, CABG etc etc.
