I have a friend who just graduated and is trying to make the big decision of what offer to take for her first job as a CRNA.
All things being equal... what things should she be considering when weighing an offer where's she's getting a 1099, and one where she's an actual group employee?
She's 36, married, no kids, will be taking lots of call, can get decent benefits through her husband's work and benefits aren't a top priority... but it would be nice to have better ones. She already has started putting away for retirement (IRAs I think, and an old 401K).
What do you think? What have your experiences been? Anything I should warn her about?
Thanks!
