University of Colorado Midwifery Program

Hi All-

Has anyone graduated from the University of Colorado's midwifery program or from their WHNP program? If so, how was your experience there?

Is Colorado a midwife friendly state?

Thanks!!

Default Re: University of Colorado Midwifery Program
Colorado is a VERY friendly place to be a midwife. I was a Registered Midwife there (now I'm in CA). Compared to where I am in CA, it is midwifery nirvana. CNMs in hospitals like any other practitioner and RMs and CNMs in home/birth center. Had I not moved back to CA I would apply to that program (or Frontier).
