Midwife via distance learning???

Hi all!!

I will soon be finishing my LPN and then off to finish my RN. I love babies and have always waivered between NICU and L&D. if i decide to go with L&D I would like to become a midwife. The programs in my state are 50+ miles from home. I have read about online programs (Frontier in NY) has any gone through them or know someone that has? pros, cons for the porgram. any info you guys could provide. thanks
