Hospitalist/Laborist

Any other midwives here who find themselves working as hospitalists/laborists, working as hospital staff in Labor & Delivery? If so, would like to hear what your job is like and what you think of this whole idea. Anybody else working with residents, in the sense of helping with their clinical training?
