A graduate degree, MSN (masters in the science of nursing) has been required for a while for a CNM.

Trauma's right -- an MSN has been required to become a CNM in the US for quite some time. The current issue/question is whether the minimum requirement will become a doctoral degree (DNP) in the near future.
