Good evening!

I am considering applying to FSMFN, the adn-msn bridge. While looking at the admissions requirements, I see that a physical assessment course is required. THey mention that they offer a course that will meet the requirement.

I have already emailed the admissions counselor to ask these questions, but want to see what others who have done this before have experienced.

Does the course need to be completed before applying? How long is it, can anyone sign up and take it? any other words about the class?

thanks!

I just took the Physical Assessment course in the Bridge program. You take it in the first term, along with a Communications class. It's very comprehensive, and I highly recommend doing the course there at Frontier.

PS - I'm an ADN-MSN student at Frontier, in my 2nd year.

Yes, they say that an assessment class and a statistics class are prerequisite, but that's if you're going directly into the MSN program. If you're doing the bridge, they provide both classes for you, as part of the bridge coursework.

Are you applying for class 80?

HI everyone,

I sent in my application to do the direct entry into the Masters in Midwifery program but I do have to take the PA prerequisite course. The one that Frontier offers is $1700 and I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative. I looked into Canyon College but Frontier told me they don't accept their courses due to their accreditations. Any other ideas anyone?

I mailed my application for the class of 80 bridge program yesterday. I was very sure I would get in, now I am a little nervous. I wanted to do June bound but that class closed a LONG time ago! So I sent in my application 2 months before the deadline hoping...

Anyway, my name is Shannon and I am planning on becoming a CNM.

Good luck to you all!

Hi. I am interested in Frontiers programs as well. I have an ADN as well as a bachelors in another field. Because of this I am planning on doing the portfolio process for admission. Does anyone have any pointers for this process? Any advice would be wonderful. Thanks.

I too am interested in the ADN-MSN bridge.

RNLaborNurse4U-How is it going? Are you working fulltime and able to handle the coursework? Sorry to hijack
