Finding a Preceptor

Hello All!!
I am new to the board and have finished my application to the University of Philadelphia with one exception- finding a preceptor. I am at a loss of what else i can do. I have called and left messages at every office in the area and have contacted (or tried) the acnm chapter members with no success. I did get a hold of one midwife who seemed really excited and told me to call her after the holidays, which i did but she has not returned my calls. any suggestions from people who have already gone through this???
