PVC


Do you count the pvc's in the rate of an EKG?The book says maybe,some nurses do some donot.

most of the time we do not and our computers do not... since this is usually a non perfused beat.... with pvc's the amount or frequency is usually what is documented

no you do not count PVCs when calculating the rate b/c if you do then you get a false rate
