CCRN with Critical Care NP

by EzraRn

Would you say that most Critical Care NP also have earned their CCRN certificate. Or atleast, that it is a good combination to have them both.

Thank You

I would say it can't hurt.

My focus is ER and I have the CEN and have kept it current.

Doesn't hurt, but not necessary.

I would bet that most critical care NP's would have their CCRN prior to becoming an NP (or perhaps afterward as well). Although I am in an FNP track and have my CCRN, so I can't really say what a CCNP would have--but it just makes sense that they would already have it
