So nervous! CCRN time!

I take the test tomorrow morning and I'm trying to keep myself together here....I took it without having time to study awhile back and nearly passed. I figured now that I have more experience I'd take it again after going to a review (review class was just last month as opposed to waiting for 5 months like last time).I'm trying to not be too hopeful because I don't want to be too disappointed if (god forbid) I don't pass this time, but I don't wanna be negative either! LolI've studied and done 300 practice questions (the core review book) but those tests seem harder than I remember the actual exam being last time! It's difficult to know about the things you don't see a lot (or ever!) and I'm worrying more about that stuff. For those who have taken it and passed, how did you study those things? I never do ICP monitoring, hardly ever get a balloon pump or SWAN, cardiac surgery, transplants, or trauma. Of course I'm familiar with the verbiage used because I always take classes on those topics at work when they're available (even if I've used up my education hours) just to learn, but that's all I have besides the 2 day review and practice tests.I know it's dumb asking so close to test time, but I thought I'd throw it out there and see what you guys thought! I wanna make it so badly! :-D

Also, any good podcasts out there? I have a LONG commute and like podcasts for extra learnin'.

Search "CCRN" on iTunes and you should find podcast lectures of Cammy House-Fancher's CCRN series for FREE. Excellent review!

Just coming back here to say thank you for your encouragement. I passed the test on this lucky 12-12-12 day. :)

Congratulations!

Congrats! I want time do csc next year as well

I misplaced, left at work(if so it is long gone) or loaned my PASS CCRN CD to someone. I am freaking out because I cannot find it anywhere!!! This throws a HUGE monkey wrench in my study plans. The new version does not come out until the 21 and Barnes and Noble has no more copies of the old edition in stock. The local libraries do not have copies of the book. The two major teaching hospital libraries do not have copies of the book/cd either!!

Does anyone have any suggestions, support, or an e-hug?

Ans I am not sure what you are asking! Does no one you know have a copy you can borrow? When do you test?

@erwindt do you have any advice?? i can probably throw up thinking about taking the exam right now. i have watched laura g and have done pass ccrn questions ranging anywhere between 110-120/150. any advice will help!!

You are perfect, will pass no problem. If u have memorized laura g and are in that range w pass ccrn questions u r in. If u want more get a ccrn review book from the library and read it .

Good luck !

Sorry for the VERY late response. I hardly log-on. Well, by now, I hope you have taken the test. You're doing EXACTLY what I did. I kept doing questions from PASS CCRN a week prior to my test... about 300 a day (150 morning and 150 at night). I was well disciplined. I watch the Laura Gasparis video when I am in between breaks from doing my questions.
