I think you can have it all, Reno!! You don't have to miss out on the nice weather and doing fun things in order to start studying for your CCRN. What materials do you have? How do you like to learn? Perhaps you could make some flash cards and then take them with you. You could listen to CD's in your car... A little every day will win the race...

You can do it!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah:

I have Pass CCRN and another book a friend let me borrow...I really should get some DVDs or something I can watch. I won't listen to CDs...I don't drive anywhere that takes more than 5-10 minutes...and reading is not my favorite thing to do.

The DVDs seem so pricey though...maybe I can find someone at work who will let me borrow some.

:hpygrp:Took the exam this morning and I PASSED! It was very challenging but anything worth while is, right? I'm really glad it's behind me as I was feeling very stressed this past week. I did quite well in a few catagories, pretty average in a few and not so hot in two. Even now that it is over, I really want to look into the CMC certification. (I don't think I'm going to break it to my husband quite yet :smackingf as I've been a bit neurotic lately) Any study tips from anyone who's taken the CMC?

This is my first post. I want to thank yall for helping me. I read the posts all summer including people's questions and concerns. Today I passed my CCRN!!! 96/125! Phew, I am glad it is over.

I went to a Med-Ed seminar CCRN Exam Review I found on the AACN website under CCRN reviews (www.mededseminars.net) with Cammy House-Fancher. Her information was good at zeroing in on what to study. Then I used Laura's CD's several times which helped me even further, and answered many questions off the Pass CCRN cd. I went system by system, and did exactly as they informed us in the seminar and on Laura's CDs concerning how to study and take the test.

Now they want us to take the TNCC in 4 weeks at my work. Sheessshhhhhhhhh. :bugeyes:

Thank you again! Congrats to everyone else who is even thinking about taking the CCRN.

Hey gradRN2007, do you have a VHS player? I have the same Laura cd's on video tape and it has the unused workbook too. Let me know and I will send them to you. I had got them two years ago when I was thinking about taking the CCRN but my dad was moving to live near us after mom passed, and it was too stressful for me to study at that time. Then I bought the CD's this spring so I could watch them on the computer in our office so as not to disturb anyone. Let me know. :typing
