I am soon beginning a job as an RN care coordinator with a state-run program for children with long-term illnesses. These families are low-income and would not otherwise be able to afford health care. I will be arranging care, finding resources, staying on top of their long-term course of care. I am excited to be more administrative than clinical, and I am also excited for a cubicle! I actually enjoy pushing papers. I actually enjoy sitting in one small space for long periods of time. What kind of nurse am I?!
Anyway, any advice? Anyone with this type of job (especially in the non-acute settings), how satisfied are you with your work? Etc..
