Nursing Malpractice Insurance

I am curious to know of nursing malpractice policy holders of our case managers on this site....focusing on hospital case managers. Do you carry your own personal policy?

I think every nurse should carry their own malpractice insurance regardless of where you work or your position.

I carry it as I am self-employed but I also carried it when I worked for an employer. Agree with the above poster that you should always carry your own policy. It is relatively inexpensive and you only need to use it once to realize the value.
