Just a quick question


Do you have to have a BSN to take Case Management classes/certification? What schools do you recommend? Thank you in advance for any reply's and have a great hoilday weekend, Donna

I have been checking out some insurance company case management positions and most have said minimum associates degree. I am not sure about certification, but I would assume if the company will hire an ASN you can sit for the exam also. I am also not sure, but I think you need at least a year case management before taking the exam.
BTW, I moved to San Diego in February from Mesa, AZ. I agree, it is damn hot in Phoenix. San Diego is great tho!!

Yes you can sit for CCM with ASN.
Practice requirement is one year under a CCM supervisor, or two without.

There are many CCM's who don't have their nursing license. My BIL is a MSW, and he has his.
