Does anyone work in a hospital that uses the computer program "care enhance review manager" for Interqual. If so, how do you like it?? Is it worth the price??
Thanks for your input!

I believe it is the least expensive "case managment" program it has some significant faults but is a lot better than hand written reviews. One thing I like is the ability to easily see previous admission reviews. It is terrible at tracking avoidable days. The review that it creates when printed is difficult to understand and not liked by the HMOs nurses ( who don't use Interqual much anyway). The RACs are also going to use Milliman. It also does not have the ability to link to external providers. Take a look at Allscripts.

Our hospital justed started using Allscripts, and once the UM staff got the hang of it, it seems most like it for reviews.
