Concurrent Review Protocol

Updated Oct 09, 2005 at 09:47 AM by Twinkle Toes

Hello there,

I'm looking for anyone who would be willing to share their concurrent review protocol. We are wanting to change from a retrospective to concurrent review process. Specifically for complying with the Surgical Infection Prevention project.

Indicators involved relate to:

1. Timely administration of prophylactic antibiotics within 60 minutes of incision
2. Appropriate prophylactic antibiotic (by procedure type)
3. Discontinuation of antibiotics
4. Appropriate hair removal
5. Glucose control < 200

Any forms, check lists or policies would be helpful. Thanks
