Case mgmt: questions to ask at the interviewRegister Today!
- by jeslynhatRN Jan 18, '11Hello all!
I interviewed last week for a case mgmt position at another hospital. I've only been a nurse for just under two years but have always had my eye on case mgmt. They've asked me to come back tomorrow to interview other case managers there so that I can ask them questions and talk with them.
What kind of questions should I be asking?

1. Describe a typical day.
2. What makes a successful case manager in this department?
3. Do you have a physician advisor and what is the relationship like? ( Anything other than "Yes" and "Terriffic" could be sign of tension between Admin and Case management)
