Yes, absolutely! There are many Specialty Case Managers....I was an Oncology Specialty Case Manager, and there are other CMs who specialize in Diabetes, Asthma, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, etc. However, when you obtain your national certification, it will only say CCM (Certified Case Manager), and not reflect any speciality....but there are other certifications you can obtain, in addition to your CCM, if you feel the need, i.e., Case Managers who deal only with Diabetic cases often like to obtain their CODE (Certified Out-patient Diabetic Educator). I'm sure, if you do some research, you will find many more....hope this helped
