Care Manager with Humana

Specialties Case Management

Published

Is anyone working with Humana as a Care Manager from home? I have my second interview this coming Tuesday. I see a lot of people that are applying, but no one that has actually worked this position for awhile. I'm interested in hearing specifics; how do you like it? What are the hours? Is the case load easily maintained?

Thanks

Hey, I was wondering if you are going to be working for Humana?

I just accepted a position there. I'm really excited about it but nervous.

let us know how it goes! Yeah, I've seen a lot of people have the first HR interview but then not go further.

Did they choose not to or they just didn't get the follow up call?

I just had interview #1 today and the web cam interview is next week with humana. I was wondering if you can give some insight to the day to day of the business. there as been much talk about micro management but is that for RN's or other titles. also, the email they sent me for the interview next week looks like a mini offer letter. it has my start date, where im going for the 2 week training, how to contact the company for the land line.. The HR rep did say I will know about 2 hrs after that interview but I jus thought what better way to find out than ask a current employee..

thanks for the info the position seems Awesome!

It was really customer service oriented, basically how you react to differnt situations and the outcome. The interview went great very relaxed, the interviewer was very easy to talk to and friendly. They made an offer about 1.5 hours later let me know how it goes

I wish I could find a job like this in my area. But it may be the nightmare I have read about on other posts. Keep us up to date, I'm interested!
