can you branch from hospice case mgt to hospital case mgt

    Absolutely. As a hospice cm you have demonstrated skills and knowledge of patient / family communication in very stressful circumstances, and home care need assessment. Do you see that move as an advancement?

    Definately, I just did it. I worked as a Hospice CM while finishing my MSN in CM and just got a job offer at a hospital doing ER CM. It definately helps but be sure hospice is something you want to do for the right reasons, very rewarding but difficult as well. Good luck!
