Become Certified Case Manager, no CM experienceRegister Today!

I want to become a certified case manager so as to increase my chances of getting a position. I have over 14 years of nursing experience, some home health, chart auditing but no direct insurance exp. - Nov 23, '11 by kapalmerI,m new to case management, after 12 years in the hospital. From what I,ve been told, is you have to have at least 1 yr. On the job before you can or aree expected to take the cm exam.
- Nov 23, '11 by MBARNBSNyes, you need to get a job and work experience before you can sit for your certification exam. in fact, a good indication that a case management certification is not legit or is pure fluff is that it is offered without the need for work experience. here is a thread that will help you to better understand the process. gl.
