What do you think of this explanation?-av blocks

by bellafea Premium Member

Hey Everyone
I am a nursing student in my final semester of an ADN program. Our program just covers the very basics on EKG interpretation ....but I enjoy it so I have been looking at different resources on my own. What do you think of the explanation in the following video?

Is it really this simple? Thanks for taking time to respond.

Looks like it would work differentiating most AV blocks.

I tend to focus on the PR interval and its relationship to the R wave when looking at a strip for potential AV block, hadn't really concentrated on the regularity of the R wave or the R-R interval.

Always can use new tools!
