I am new to cardiac nursing. I have a question about a 3 lead. I noticed that the monitor showed inverted qrs on all the pt that were being monitored. Is this because of the particular lead chosen and why is this used? Can anyone help me?

Nov 29, '12 by nursej22I can think of a few reasons why your patient had inverted QRS complexes: the leads were placed incorrectly, they had a pacemaker (although lead I should still be upright) or they were in a ventricular rhythm.
