Preop and Postop Mitral valve replacement

Mitral Valve Replacement procedure has slightly different pre and post op. I have search all over but unable to obtain a proper pre and post op list. what should we focus on after the surgery etc.

Can anyone help me with it?

I bought the book, Manual Of Perioperative Care In Adult Cardiac Surgery by Robert Bojar. One of our P.A.'s tells me everytime she sees it how good of a book it is. Maybe this book would be helpful.
