Cardiac Nursing



Cardiac nursing deals with individuals who have heart-related problems such as angina, disturbances in cardiac rhythm, congestive heart failure, etc. Nurses deal with the pathophysiology, management and prevention of heart diseases, as well as procedures, surgeries, interventions, complementary/alternative medicine, and diagnostic testing in a variety of areas such as ICU, CCU, Cardiac Cath labs, Cardiac Rehab, and Cardiac research.
