I just started in the cath lab 2 weeks ago. I have been a nurse for 2.5 years, but mainly with a background in peds and a few months in an adult ICU. I know from reading and talking to coworkers that it will take several months before I become a decent cath lab nurse. I would like to become familiar with some of the terms and procedures. Does anybody have any recommendations for resources like books, websites, apps, etc..? Thank you in advance.
The Cardiac Catheterization Handbook by Morton J. Kern
Grossman and Baim's Cardiac Catheterization, Angiography, and Intervention
are two good books that will likely provide you with more than you will ever need to study.
