I'm a new grad RN on a SD Cardiac/Vascular Unit. We get alot of s/p caths, pacemakers, AAA, Afib, etc. on our unit. I have become quite familiar with our regular meds and the parameters for those. I have been looking for a resource to summarize my cardiac meds. For example: which ones are typically used for specific diagnosis, prolonged QT intervals, where in the cardiac cycle they work, etc. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Not sure how much you want to spend, or maybe your unit or library has a copy, but Drugs for the Heart by Opie and Gersh is an excellent resource.
