I had a patient on it with low hr and bp but the doc still wanted to give it.

Jan 29 by HouTxDid you talk to the doc about rationale and what hemodynamic parameters s/he wanted to use for this particular patient? This is necessary and should be documented if normal parameters are going to be ignored. If this is not documented, s/he is just going to have to deal with calls like yours on an ongoing basis. Also - your pharmacist can give you more insight than we can. That's what they're there for - LOL.turnforthenurseRN likes this.
