    So recently we have been having problems with our 9 F venous sheaths rebleeding. Wondering what is your procedure for sheath removal?

    Some nurses like to do the 20-30 min manual pressure with a sandbag after. Protocol at my facility is to use a FemStop, unless MD specifically doesn't want that. Lots of nurses here don't like the femstop; yes it can be cumbersome, but they work very well and allow you to continually monitor site as pressure is applied.
