Work in Alberta or Toronto as an LPN. What would you do, if you were in my shoes

I need some advice before i make my decision. If it were you, what would you do?
I work as a Licensed practical Nurse in Calgary, Alberta and i am currently making $35/hr. In the next two years, i will be making close to $40/hr. My husband will be going to school next year to study as an xray technician. Here is the problem. Life in calgary sucks because we don't have lots of friends and families around , even places to go are limited since is not part of our culture. My husband thinks that after his schooling, we should go back to Toronto where there are lots of friends and is also close to the US where we have lots of family members. The problem i am having is chosen between friends, family or money, because in Toronto i can't make close to $30/hr. If it were you, what would you do?

Ok, here's is what I would do, but that is only my situation, you may feel very different. If I could get my spouse to Calgary, I would be gone in a skinny minute because I am tired of Ontario. Both my spouse and I have families that tend to suck the life out of us. As long as I could have my spouse and kids with me, I would be happy. The only reason we are here is because my spouse has a good job here, we both moved a lot as kids so neither of us gets attached to any particular place.

As for RPN opportunites, there aren't many that I am aware of that pay $30. per hour in Ontario but I am sure that you will be basing your decision on many other factors. Good luck.

If you think you're going to have trouble convincing your husband to stay where you are, do a little quick Google research on the cost of living in Calgary vs Toronto and draw up a budget based on your incomes (you can estimate his as a radiology tech by checking union collective agreements in both provinces) then ask him what he'd be happy to give up to have more family and friends around. That $5 an hour more that you're making right now adds up to almost $10,000 a year...

You must only work nights on weekends to come up with that hourly rate in AHS...
