It's six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Visiting and moving to another country are very different experiences. I used to work with a nurse who had moved from Ulster. She returned home. Missed her family and the familiarity of her old job. She found nursing here very different. The changes in responsiblities didn't bother her, just the expectations of service from the patients.

She just found it hard to settle down in a small community and her husband had a very hard time finding employment in his field.

You would really need to research where you wanted to live and if you have a spouse, how well would they adapt to the change. I've seen marriages that were strong in the UK crumble over here due to the unhappiness of one person.

It's such a large country with differing lifestyles you would really have to narrow it down some. I grew up on the west coast and found moving to the prairies difficult. I miss the sea and mountains, but love the open spaces here.

It's a choice only you can make.

I would jump across for a tour first and see if you like it. Immigration is hard and stressfull but personally I think it was worth it. oh the things you'll do for love. I'm starting to see the light at the end of the Tunnel finally. I start work monday. I just hope I passed those exams. Keeping fingers toes and nose crossed. please oh please let me pass the exam
