What is a Nurse's Salary in Canada

by gravy

Hello, I am trying ot do some research for a project and looking to find out how much nurses are making across Canada in various locations, settings and so forth.
If you don't mind can you kindly answer the following questions?
!) How many years of experience as a LICENSED nurse?
2) How many hours per week do you work?
3) What setting do you work in (hospital, home for the aged etc)
4) How much do you earn monthly/yearly or hourly?
5) What education and experience do you have?
6)Are you male or female?
7) Was it difficult to find employment? How long did it take?

Please consider answering those questions so that I can conclude my research study and feel free to add anything else you think might be beneficial.

Many thanks!

Some people will be very reluctant to provide you with that level of private information on a public bulletin board. Perhaps you should ask for PMs.

You could also try looking at the employment sections of various health authorities. They usually give the hourly rates and FTEs for various positions.

I work in Ontario, an agency nurse making $27, hours are 76 capped, up to 88 biweekly.
Per Ministry of Health mandate.
