Validity of CRNE certificate

Hi,

Anyone know the validity of the CRNE certificate. I just passed my CRNE, took the exam last June but I am not yet ready to go and work in Alberta. My job offer is in Edmonton. My plan is to move by March. Is it still ok if i will be starting working next year. Can i delay my application for my license?

thank you.

Yes, you can. But I would recommend applying for your license in early January to give time for all the paperwork to be completed. Even those of us who renew have to do so several weeks in advance. Our licenses expire on September 30 of each year, but we're told to have our applications in and paid for no later than the end of August to ensure that we have proof of registration by October 1.
