US ADN Degree, Can I work in BC?

Technically this post should be on the International forum but you haven't actually asked for immigration information so I'll answer it here... To practice anywhere in Canada you have to write the Canadian Registered Nurse Exam, which is as hard as but very different from the NCLEX. You also have to be registered in the jursidiction where you were educated. Each province ahs a few differenly niggly rules they want followed too. As for what you'd make as a nurse in BC, there's more to it than just the hourly pay rate. You will be required to pass the NCLEX exam before they will look at your application, even if you never plan to work in the US. The Canadian provinces require the local license for everyone that applies there.

And be aware that the licensure exam is only offered several times per year, not like the US.
