Study via Grant MacEwan College

Hi there

I am thinking of doing the courses to assist me to get my work permit to work as Nurse. I am to do two courses via Grant MacEwan including two clinical practicals in Pediatrics and Obstetrics somewhere in Calgary (not sure how this works especially when this course is distance learning).

I wanted to find out if anyone has studied via Grant MacEwan and did any clinical practicals? If so how helpful are the preceptors? The reason I ask is that I am an Internationally trained nurse from Australia and I have never done any clinical practicals in Canada, so i am praying that they are helpful. As right now I have been out of the RN role now for 4 months and it may end up being a total of 9 months when it comes time to do any clinical practicals. So I will need help.
