I also forgot to include : you MUST have a B average, and there is NO interview process - you just have to apply and then follow up with a PSE that queen's required (Personal Statement of Experience). You can probably download this document already. All queen's applicants for every program have to do a PSE, which is a bunch of questions about yourself and why you are applying.

A friend of mine applied to Queen's last year, she had a B+ cumulative average with all the required courses and was put on the waiting list. From what I understand, it is a competitive admissions process since there are so few spots.

If you are applying from BC, are you guys also open to schools other than Queen's University? There are many other accelerated nursing programs in Ontario: Western, McMaster, University of Toronto, York, University of Ottawa...off the top of my head.

Oh mine~ Thank you all for the inputs. I think we've already came so far from having no info about Queen's AST at all to finding someone who's applying for the program or knows someone who is. You have no idea how thankful I am!!!

Please continue providing us with more info if possible~~~ I'm also gonna see if I could dig up some info myself and post it here

nessness : Please let us know how the AST-info session went. Did they provide you additional info than the ones you've already told us?

liza205 : I'm sure keeping my eyes open for other nursing school. There are sure a lot of options. But with regard to a fast track program, I've came upon few problems eg. some university require the completion of a bachelor degree(I forgot which one), then there are some problems with the physiology requirement I'm doing... I'm doing animal physiology and some programs only accept human physiology, and some university just never replied to my email... But I'll keep looking. The list of universities you provided will be a useful guide. x)
