Private Health Care for Canada

What do you think about the private clinics starting to open in Canada? Fair? Discriminatory? An answer to our overcrowded ER's? Should nurses support this idea of a two tiered health care system. Canadians love hearing those words.

I don't think you'll hear too many nurses supporting a two-tiered system. In a perfect world it may work but as they have seen in the UK, medical personel seem to gravitate towards the money and the private system seems to poach from the public system.
Personally I have a sense that it could work I just haven't seen anywhere that it does.
