Ontario RN's have you ever filed

a grievance with your local union against the hospital that you have worked for?

I have about not being called in for shifts as per seniority.

Any info. to share.

Thanks,

Sarah

My advice is to talk to the union rep at your hospital. I know of several nurses who have made a grievance towards their employer but it always starts with the union rep in your facility.

Union Reps are wonderful things...Our hospital system just underwent program transfer and my service is now in a non-unionized hospital. All RN's transferring from the unionized sites are covered for another year after transfer thank god... Needless to say the grass wasn't greener on the other side....
