Online RN-BSN Programs?

Does anyone know of some good online RN-BSN programs, either in the US or Canada? Most of what I've found so far require on-campus attendance.

I've been checking into the online program at UBC, but just got an email from them that indicates they are discontinuing their RN-BSN program.

Try Athabasca. Alternately there are several in the US but be careful of doing anything out of the country, some programs may not be recognized in Canada. For example I know of some RN's that did the RN-BSN program through a university in Australia and the BS was not recognized by McMaster U when they went to apply for the MSN program there.

I forgot to mention that I did my BSN on-line through St.Joseph's College in Maine. Loved it! Great school. No problems having the BSN recognized, they are completely accredited. And they love Canadians.

Would you mind sending me some info on that program? How did you do the exams? Since it is so far

Dear Madam
I am so desperate, I wonder if you can help me? Please! I am a LPN in BC Canada and I want to do the RN on-line, even in the USA, I am willing to move there after I qualify from doing an on-line course with a US school. Please be so kind to give me info on this school, I will forever be grateful to you.
Warm regards
Many thanks

I am pretty sure that Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia does not require any time on campus. I think they offer all courses in 3 formats:

1. On campus, traditional, brick and mortar for local students
2. Teletechnec -- most work online with some lectures that are videostreamed to your home computer
3. 100% online program

I pretty sure that they have students from all over the country who find it suits their needs.

Please check out the programs thoroughly that you are interested in. Big difference in completing RN to BSN program on-line, since the nurse already has the RN and then there are no issues as they do not go for licensure again.

There have been issues with several programs when it is the LPN to RN done completely on-line, they are not accepted by all states for licensure as an RN. As well as issues with getting the clinicals set up when you are not in the US.

Just a few things to find out before signing anything with any school.
