Without you being more specific as to where you are in Canada, hard to give you specifics as to what to do for looking for a job. Understand that you have permanent residency and have written the CRNE, but each province is quite different in terms of looking for work.

What is your area of specialty? Are you wishing to work in a hospital setting or something different?

I just want to know if its true after two years of staying in canada you can get permanent residency there???thanks....I also wana know that if Im already in bond with an agency i cannot apply in any institution like fresenius....because according to them that would be bridge of my contract with my agency because they are worldwide and thay can be a competitor of my agency so they wwant me to choose between them and my agency...But of course I'll choose my agency because i alraedy passed all my exam.....for US and waiting for my PD in i-140...

You can apply for PR after a few months, you do not have to wait 2 years for PR.

Hi,
Can anyone specifically tell me for how long should I stay in Canada before I can apply for permanent residency.

I am currently working in England and has a job offer in Alberta. Is it a requirement also to be an RN first before I could apply for citizenship. Does it mean if we would not be able to pass the CRNE, there's no chance for us to be a canadian citizen?

thank you.

PR and citizenship are 2 different things. You can apply for PR after a few months of being in Canada. Citizenship is a few years after that. If you meet requirements of residency then you can apply for citizenship it doesn't mean you have to be a RN. You can apply for PR but will take several years and you stay outside Canada if you have a job offer and enter with a TWP you can apply for PR sooner

Why use our country as a stepping stone? You would only be taking the place of someone who wants to make a life here.

exactly.

Being a PR will make no difference to your application to the US.
