need advice


Hello
Anyone who knows how we can transfer our licence to other state licence with in canada? i mean if toronto nurse wants to work in B.C. what is the procedure and how long it takes and any requirments or fatcs to know?
Anyone who has experience with this?

ok. First of all we have PROVINCES not states. Each province has it's own requirements. Contact the licencing body for the province you are interested in moving to and they will tell you what you need to do.

When you contact the CRNBC they will send you an application package that contains a ton of forms. You will have to provide proof of registration in Ontario; proof of graduation from an accepted nursing education program; a copy of your birth certificate or passport; employment records; permission to contact previous employers; consent to a criminal records check; if educated outside Canada, transcripts from your school sent directly by the school; if English isn't your first language, results of the IELTS; CRNe results and a bunch of money. The process takes at least a couple of months. They may come back to you and want more documentation (and more money). It isn't a quick thing.
