by linzz

Just wondering if anyone has noticed that nursing homes in Ontario seem to be looking for RN's and not so much RPN's or am I wrong here? Any opionions would be appreciated.

in my area of ontario, i know that there are fewer rns available. with ltc facilities needing rns around the clock, they are having a hard time finding them.

some ltc places are continuously looking for rns, but have a full complement of rpns working.

and with our hospital actively looking for rns, ltc places tend to be last on the list when rns go out to interview.
