Montreal graduate wants to work in Toronto!

by feiyue

Hello all! hope everyone has a great summer

I am currently studying nursing in Montreal, and will be graduating in summer 2010; but I would really like to work in Toronto, so I was wondering does anyone know if the process for me would be the same for students who graduate in Toronto? and do I also get three chances to write the CRNE??

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the site

Moved to the Canadian forum

You will need to apply to the college of registered nurses, meet their requirements and yes you only have 3 chances on passing CRNE but think positively

From what a friend did, you just move to Ontario and apply to write through the college.

You are in a BScN programme aren't you? You should definitely contact CNO and make sure your education will transfer across, and you should do it soon so that if you have to make any changes to your classes for next year you'll still have time to do it. Other than that, all you really have to do is apply to write in Ontario and you're good to go.
